How much do students love pizza? We put it to the test

They say nothing brings students together like some free slices.
Well, it’s a theory we personally have, anyway. And we decided to put it to the test with our new Pints & Pizza social, here at House of Social.
The results?
Let us set the scene.
It’s 7:10pm on Thursday 27th November. Dough Religion’s ovens are fired up. The kegs are perfectly cool. The Mezz is a picture of activity – buzzing with beer glasses, silver dishes and happy faces. It’s our first ever Pizza & Pints social, and the vibes are truly immaculate.
Okay, we’re being a little over-the-top in our description simply for dramatic effect. But it was a great night – with more than 100 drinks and 120 slices enjoyed by over 50 residents. Friends were made over pool tables, neighbours connected with drinks in-hand, and the House really did feel like a home. Pizza & Pints was our first official residents-only social and it was an absolute hit.
Although the event officially finished at 8:30pm, a few residents even stayed on to keep the good times going. We love to see it.
So… how much do students love pizza?
It’s safe to say that they do. A lot. And if you can’t take it from us, take it from the quotes from our residents below.
