Because here, we respect the feng shui of student life. Our student accommodation is designed to give you focus time when you need it, and social time when you want it.
Our Food Hall events programme means our residents always have something to look forward to. When you’re craving energy, atmosphere, connection, it’s all waiting for you downstairs. There’s aren’t many other places that can offer that, if we do say so ourselves.

House Quiz – every other Tuesday
Bring your brainest pals together, all in the name of a trivia Tuesday.
Our new House Quiz, hosted by the pub quiz pros at Quizzy Business, is quickly becoming one of our most popular events here at House of Social.
The quiz starts at 7:30pm, so come down earlier to grab a table and enjoy a drink or bite beforehand.
Free entry. Teams of up to 6. Bar tabs and pizza up for grabs. We’ll come out and say it… it’s the best pub quiz in town.
Living Room Dance Club – every Thursday @ 5pm – 10pm
No playlists. No algorithms. Definitely no AI. Just proper house party energy.
Head downstairs every Thursday evening for some feel-good sets from our Living Room Dance Club DJs. Expect soulful classics, upbeat remixes, and a great atmosphere.
Are you a talented DJ who’d like to showcase your talent? We’d love to see our residents on the decks. Speak to your residence team, and we’ll see what we can do.
The Residents – every Friday @ 7:30pm
You don’t need to go far to find your Friday groove.
The Residents is our house band in collaboration with the extremely talented Untold Orchestra. These guys really know how to put on a show.
Whether you’re up stepping to the beat or singing from your seat, The Residents’ energy is infectious. It’s the perfect way to start your weekend.
Saturday DJs – every Saturday @ 1pm – late
Set the rhythm for your out-of-lecture time.
Our rotating lineup of DJs turn out the tunes every Saturday.
Don’t worry, the music isn’t loud to the point you and your friends are shouting to be heard. Our DJs simply set a gentle yet fun vibe that only enhances your Saturday catch-ups.
Sunday Live – every Sunday @ 2pm – 5pm
Good tunes. Great food. Chilled vibes. What more could you want on a restful Sunday?
Local talent from across Manchester join us at the end of every week to bless the House with easy-listening live music. This event is all about resetting your nervous system, and providing a relaxed background to ease you into the coming week.
Enjoy some acoustics as you sip your morning matcha. Tap your toes as you tuck into a delicious lunch, prepared by one of our kitchens.
Soul Assembly – first Wednesday of the month
This isn’t a weekly occasion but it’s certainly worth waiting for.
If you love neo-soul, big vocals and unbelievable talent, this one’s for you. Curated by the brilliant Mali Hayes, Soul Assembly is a celebration of Manchester’s hip-hop and R&B scene.
Every month, Mali brings someone new onto the stage. And they always blow our socks off.
No ticket necessary. Just head downstairs, grab a table and live in the moment.
