Enter the chat: the Resident Workspace at House of Social.

Having a space to study isn’t a nice-to-have. It’s an absolute student essential. So, we’ve made a few changes to the Food Hall to give our residents a go-to, guaranteed workspace.

Whether you’re working solo or with flatmates, the Resident Workspace on The Mezz is your corner to crack on with your to-do list. It’s the same space you know and love. The only difference is now, it’s exclusively yours. Result.

The Resident Workspace will also our new spot for hosting socials like Pizza & Pints and Morning Meet-up.

But the new perks don’t end there…



House of Social residents can now fuel up on free filter coffee and tea, available for top-up near the Main Bar.

Running late for a lecture? Grab a brew to go in a takeaway mug. Who knows, maybe we’ll sling you a surprise slice or sweet treat to go with it. Watch this space…

We do have a small favour to ask, though. When you’re in the Resident Workspace, please make sure your lanyard is clearly displayed. This is to help us make sure there are no outsiders in your space.

Occasionally, we host large bookings and events on The Mezz. When this impacts the Resident Workspace, we’ll always aim to find you alternative seating.
